sense rules to follow and it will certainly help your confidence if you
can swim. The club can advise on personal safety measures that should be
taken to enable you to have fun on the water in safety. Ardleigh
reservoir is well suited to learners due to its shape and size. There
are often quieter spots near to shore while windier areas await you
further out should you wish to test your skills.
It certainly doesn’t have to! Ardleigh Sailing Club has boats you can hire or
borrow for as little as a fiver. In the summer we run social sailing sessions which are a brilliant
way to practice your skills. Ardleigh Sailing Club is also a great place to find other boat owners who may be happy
to welcome beginners to join them as crew. Our
membership packages are generally cheaper than the cost of joining a gym!
